Utter French respects your privacy. This app is designed to work primarily on-device.

What Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data on remote servers.

Microphone Access

Utter French requests microphone permission for the ‘Practice’ feature in which you can record and compare your pronunciation attempts.

• Audio recordings are used only for in-app pronunciation features.
• Audio is processed locally on your device. No audio recorded through the app ever leaves your device.
• We do not use microphone audio for tracking, advertising or any other purpose than the pronunciation ‘practice’ feature.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores limited local data such as:

• app settings (for example playback and layout preferences),
• selected in-app preferences,
• temporary audio files needed for pronunciation playback/comparison.

This data is stored on-device. It never leaves your device and is not made available to third parties.

Tracking and Advertising

Utter French does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.

Third-Party Services

Utter French does not send user data to third-party analytics or advertising services.

Your Choices

• You can deny microphone permission in iOS Settings.
• You can remove app data by deleting the app from your device.

Children

Utter French is not designed to collect personal information from children.
